Neck Flexion and Extension Stretch

The Neck Flexion and Extension Stretch is a dynamic movement that enhances neck mobility. Gently tilt your head forward and backward to relieve tension and improve flexibility in your neck muscles.

Starting position

  1. Sit or stand with a straight spine.
  2. Relax your shoulders and keep your hands by your sides.

Motion

  1. Tilt your head forward, bringing your chin towards your chest.
  2. Hold for a breath.
  3. Return to the starting position.
  4. Tilt your head backward, looking up towards the ceiling.
  5. Hold for a breath.
  6. Return to the starting position.
  7. Repeat this sequence for the duration of the exercise.
