The Ankle Alphabet is a dynamic ankle mobility exercise involving drawing the alphabet with your toes. Enhance ankle flexibility and reduce stiffness for better movement in sports and daily activities.
Starting position
- Sit or stand comfortably with one foot lifted slightly off the ground.
- Using your big toe as a 'pen,' draw the letters of the alphabet in the air.
Motion
- Perform the alphabet sequence with controlled movements of your ankle.
- Switch sides when prompted; you don't need to complete the entire alphabet on one side.
Tips
- Maintain a slow and controlled pace to maximize the stretch.
- Focus on articulating each letter to engage the full range of motion.
