Neck CirclesRepeat for each leg/arm
Neck Circles are a dynamic stretch involving circular movements of the head. Rotate your head gently in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions to release tension and improve neck flexibility.
Starting position
- Sit or stand with a straight spine and relaxed shoulders.
- Keep your chin parallel to the ground.
Motion
- Initiate small circles with your head in a clockwise direction.
- Gradually increase the size of the circles as you continue the motion.
- When you hear 'switch sides', reverse the direction and rotate your head counterclockwise.
- Continue the circular motion for the duration of the exercise.
Tips
- Perform the circles slowly and without force.
- Maintain relaxation in your shoulders throughout the movement.
