Lying Quadriceps Stretch
Repeat for each leg/arm

The Lying Quadriceps Stretch is a simple stretch that targets and improves flexibility in the quadriceps muscles, found at the front of your thighs. This stretch is performed lying on your side.

Starting position

  1. Lie on your side with your legs stacked on top of each other.
  2. Bend your bottom knee slightly for stability.

Motion

  1. Reach back with your top hand and gently grab your top ankle.
  2. Pull your ankle towards your buttocks to feel a stretch in the front of your thigh.
  3. Hold the position and switch sides when prompted.
Tips
  1. Keep your knees close together during the stretch.
