Cross-body Triceps StretchRepeat for each leg/arm
The Cross-body Triceps Stretch is a simple yet effective stretch targeting the triceps and outer shoulder. Bring one arm across your chest and gently press on the elbow with the opposite hand. Feel the stretch along the back of the arm and shoulder.
Starting position
- Stand or sit comfortably with a straight spine.
Motion
- Bring one arm across your chest, bending it at the elbow.
- Use the opposite hand to gently press on the elbow.
- Feel the stretch along the back of the arm and outer shoulder.
- Hold for the duration of the countdown and switch sides if prompted.
Tips
- Keep your shoulders relaxed during the stretch.
- Avoid excessive force; the stretch should be gentle and comfortable.
