Neck Flexion and Extension Stretch
The Neck Flexion and Extension Stretch is a dynamic movement that enhances neck mobility. Gently tilt your head forward and backward to relieve tension and improve flexibility in your neck muscles.
Starting position
- Sit or stand with a straight spine.
- Relax your shoulders and keep your hands by your sides.
Motion
- Tilt your head forward, bringing your chin towards your chest.
- Hold for a breath.
- Return to the starting position.
- Tilt your head backward, looking up towards the ceiling.
- Hold for a breath.
- Return to the starting position.
- Repeat this sequence for the duration of the exercise.
Tips
- Move your head smoothly without jerky motions.
